Surrounded by the tropical rain forest and boarded by an expansive private beach it is 30 km South-West of Manado, and encompasses over 13 hectares of land, crossed by a picturesque mountain river. The bungalow construction is some of the finest in North Sulawesi, utilizing authentic iron wood for floors with the exterior and interior of the cottages using quality wood from the Moluccas Islands, all carefully chosen. For the final touches, natural rock from the region was used to blend the resort with the environment. All the bungalows were constructed trying to adapt traditional architectural style to a comfortable resort ambiance. Bungalows are fully air-conditioned with a view of the sea from the private veranda. The semi outside open air bathrooms offer a natural feeling. Each unit has a master bedroom and a small additional room with bunk beds for kids or an additional 3 or 4th person. 15 cottages, all with same layout and standard, approx. 70 sqm; 2 cottages are connected to enable one communal cottage for group stays, 2 more cottages, as well as all Resort facilities, are wheelchair accessible. Room Facilities Each cottage comprises of a spacious bedroom, an adjoining room with a bunk bed, a large open bathroom and a broad wooden terrace complete with ocean view. All cottages are equipped with AC, ceiling fan, mini bar, tea and coffee facilities, hot water, IDD phone, possibility for internet connection, safe, hairdryer and toiletries. Restaurant and Bar Considered being of superior category, the Resort offers the choice of two restaurants; the River Restaurant with Italian, International and Asian cuisine, and the Jungle Restaurant which offers a variety of local specialities. The Sea Front Bar is the perfect place to simply enjoy a glass of selected Italian wine or one of the numerous other drinks, playing games or just relaxing. Other Facilities Spacious private beach composed of coral/volcanic sand, sun beds, sea view fresh water swimming pool, sea front Lagoon Spa, heated Jacuzzi, souvenir shop, laundry service, baby sitting, playground for children, fax, internet and e-mail services, money changer, car rental, golf (outside the Resort). Diving and Snorkelling Our PADI diving centre is managed by European dive instructors, assisted by professional multilingual dive guides, where you may also obtain PADI certifications up to Dive Master Level. In addition to diving or snorkelling around the islands of Bunaken Marine Park, the Resort also offers excellent dive and snorkelling sites right at its doorstep where a large variety of critters and other rare species commune. Specially developed for divers, the traditional dive boats are comfortable and roomy and come equipped with first aid kits, oxygen tanks, toilet and fresh water for showering and rinsing off. Nitrox is also available.
