Just a 25-min ride from Sam Ratulangi International Airport, the resort is situated on a chocolate-coloured beach, in full view of majestic Manado Tua, a dormant volcano across the Sulawesi sea. During your stay you will be treated to many spectacular sunsets while you enjoy a drink at the bar, to the soothing sound of the waves lapping the shore. When night falls you can dine under the stars on delicious food, prepared with fresh local ingredients, sometimes to the sound of wonderful music from our staff. Cocotinos is all about having fun, and being a small beach resort, you will have the opportunity to meet others who share your passion about scuba diving, underwater photography, watersports and other outdoor activities. We hope to welcome you to our world and share with you the now popular Cocotinos hospitality! Accommodation Cocotinos was designed to be simple and practical, with a contemporary tropical theme. We have 16 villas rooms and 2 suites, making this, our first property, a 18 room property that can cater to the various requirements of our guests. Our villa rooms are built as duplexes (2 rooms under 1 roof) and our Posi-Posi & Kano-Kano Suites are built on the entire upper floors of the two water's edge villas. A villa room occupies half the footprint of a villa. The high timber ceiling makes the room an airy, comfortable space beautifully appointed for your enjoyment. Being on the water's edge, this room has a great, uninterrupted view of the sea, and the private verandah is built extra wide for you to enjoy this feature. Indulge in the sensuous bedroom with its round bath and shower facing the sea, and spend enchanted evenings with your partner, watching the sun set across the sea over the distant dormant volcano of Manado Tua. Facilities Open from 7am to midnight. Music will be mellowed down at 10pm in the interest of guests who have turned in for the night. We have an ala carte menu to compliment our full board meal plan policy for those who can't wait for meal time. Last order for food is at 10pm. No room service. Laleina Spa is open from 8am to 8pm (last appointment) daily. A variety of massages, manicure & pedicure and packages which include body scrubs and wraps are available. Our therapists will be happy to explain to you the benefits of each one of the treatments and assist you in making your choice. Reservation is recommended. Full Service Dive Centre (Odyssea Divers – Euro Divers International) with Enriched Air Nitrox and Tri-Mix Technical facilities. Open from 8am to 9pm. At Tokos, you may purchase a variety of souvenirs, apparels, toiletries, snacks and drinks. Rectangular shaped 6m x 16m with depth of 1.2m to 2m Internet Access is provided via WIFI™ free of charge at Deho Restaurant & Bar, however only 5 connections are allowed at any one-time. Being in a remote area with no cable infrastructure, our internet link is established by connecting back to Manado city via a long range wireless antenna. Links may occasionally be broken and internet access maybe be disrupted. If you have not brought your own laptop, you may use the computer located in the digital camera studio to check your emails. Television is only available at the Deho Restaurant & Bar and in the suites. The programmes available include international news, sports (ESPN, Star Sports, Euro Sports), education/entertainment (Discovery, Travel, NatGeo, AXN) and movies (HBO, Cinemax). We have a selection of magazines and books for your reading pleasure. Our library of magazines and books are contributed by guests and staff. We welcome the contribution of your books and magazines. You are also encouraged to sign and leave a short message somewhere in the book. Work space for video and photography enthusiasts. Charging facilities with 110V and 220V surge protected and UPS supported outlets. Use of computer for viewing, editing and temporary storage of photos. Blank writable DVDs and CD are available for sale. Universal plug adapters are readily available.
