Information About Bali - Seminyak

Seminyak is the northern most and most sophisticated are within the Kuta district which is located on the west coast in the south of Bali. Seminyak is home mainly to mid and top end Seminyak hotels and also has some budget options as well. Seminyak fits well into the changing trends from Kuta to Legian and is an excellent continuation of this style. There are some excellent hotels located right on the beach and all of the other Seminyak Hotels are located very close to the beach with walking access. All of these hotels have good restaurants and there are plenty of excellent facilities in the larger of the area. The beach scene is the least crowded in the Kuta district and you can walk down the palms shaded beach finding some of the incredible beachside restaurants and cafes as you go. I f you head to the north of Seminyak you will also find many boutique resorts which are much smaller and usually only accommodate 10 or so separate rooms which usually have private pools and incredible décor as well as private access and excellent services. These boutique resorts are usually very modern in nature and often sport some of the Balinese styles although sometimes they can be completely contemporary and are popular with the Europeans who reside in the area. The Seminyak hotels of this area are locates around the incredible sunset restaurants which are some of the most desirable spots in Bali.

Further south the style merges back into the Legian feel but always shows a higher level of class and there are a higher level of services and restaurants around here which give Seminyak a different feel to Legian. It is generally a little quieter and more aimed towards couples and sophisticated groups of friends as well as those who are interesting in the budding world music scene of salsa and rhombi dancing. There is a much wider variety of cuisine available and as well many more distinguished activities such as polarities, yoga and Thai Chi. With multiple pools and all kinds of other amenities such as spas, games rooms internet facilities business suites, meeting rooms as well as tour operators and other services enabling you to be able to get involved in anything you want in Bali and even on the surrounding islands and organize all of it from your Seminyak Hotel.

Access from all of the Seminyak hotels to the resort of Bali is very good, there is less traffic around these parts then there is in Kuta and the access to the main roads is very easy and close meaning you can by pass the traffic and explore the entire island with ease. Also if you take a very short trip north you will leave tourist Bali behind and be able to walk over the rice paddies and along the beaches and see the traditional life of the Bali in action.
